This Google sponsored competition is a drive by the search engine company to get more small to medium size businesses on-line. Our web-site was deemed to be the best in its category nationally!
We were chosen out of 700 applicants, the judging was managed as a two-stage process with two different judging panels.
The first judging panel was responsible for short-listing entries in each category. Each website was reviewed by two people which was marked with a maximum of 50 points, taking into account competition criteria. Marks were totalled and entries ranked in order of merit per category. Top 3 entries per category then formed a short list.
The second judging panel were independent experts for each category. Judges took into account both the website and the information provided in the applicants entry form about how their website benefits their business.
Having won this award we have featured in the Mail on Sunday [Link to E-version]
, and have been interviewed by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, along with featuring in our own trade press.
